QC Ware is seeking to add an experienced business development executive to our team. The new hire will be based in the US or Europe. Ideally, the new hire will start shortly after January 1, 2022.

About You

You are an accomplished business development executive with 10 or more years of experience presenting, designing, and executing customer advanced analytics projects for the pharmaceuticals industry. You have a strong network of professional connections to the pharma industry but can also reach out and create connections to new prospects over the phone,
through email, in person and at trade shows.

You understand how advanced analytics software solutions are used by highly skilled technical professionals and researchers in the pharma, life science, and healthcare sectors and you have at least 5 years of consulting experience in these sectors. You have a track record in customer acquisition and business development for complex, large (greater than $1M), custom, enterprise consulting engagements in the pharma, life science and healthcare space. Examples of the technology used in these solutions include but are not limited to High Performance Computing for Computational Chemistry Simulations, Machine Learning, and Optimization.

You have excellent oral and written communication skills and can learn complex ideas and reproduce them in layman’s terms. You can stay on top of quickly evolving competitive landscape, learn and adjust. You feel comfortable engaging with business executives over the phone or in-person and presenting in front of small and large audiences. You do not need a large operations or support organization to deliver results and can work well with subject matter and technical experts on prospects as needed.

You are familiar with documenting your business development activity in the company’s CRM solution and you appreciate and expect coaching and training.

You will be expected to build a business towards a specific revenue target and have done so consistently in your previous positions.
