QC Ware

Description

QC Ware develops quantum computing solutions for commercial and government partners through collaborative R&D engagements. We are looking for an individual to work directly with our partners to deploy and develop QC Ware’s quantum algorithms and SaaS product. This quantum engineer will tackle complex operational problems in a wide range of industries and will identify ways to apply quantum and classical algorithms to these problems. The quantum engineer will play a key role in the symbiosis between our partner-facing engagements, our product development, and our algorithmic research.

● Background with SaaS products
● Prior work on operational problems that arise in an industrial setting
● Experience with quantum circuit programming and hardware execution
● Experience with machine learning techniques and tools
● Research in NISQ quantum algorithms

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

● Ph.D. in physics or a closely related discipline from a top research institution
● Published contributions in quantum computation, quantum algorithms, quantum
information science, particle or condensed matter theory, or computational physics.
● High level of proficiency with the Python programming language
● Ability to work at our office in Palo Alto, California
● Demonstrated interest and ability to work with varied research collaboration partners
● Excellent interpersonal skills and desire to work with partners and across teams
